Chrysoberyl cat's eye is a very different form of alexandrite. It is cut as a cabochon and has a pronounced silver-white cat's-eye effect, which moves from side to side when the stone is rotated. The colours range from honey yellow and honey brown to yellowish-green and nearly beight green. The ideal colour for chrysoberyl cat's-eye is a light golden brown with a darker shadow that produces the stone's milk and honey or cat's-eye effect.
